of the Regional Mobile
Force Battalion in Calabarzon has been accorded with a Certificate of
Recognition as Hero of
the Year 2023.
The award was
conferred to Police Executive Master Segeant Paquito Chan, Jr
by Gawad Pilipino on
Septermber 10, 2023 at
Celebrity Sports Plaza in
Quezon City.

said their mission is to
diligently identify, honor and showcase the remarkable achievment of
Filipinos who made outstanding contributions
in various fields.
He said Chan, who
has just recovered from
a heart stroke, is a true
beacon of hope for the
victims of Mt. Mayon
eruption where he personally distributed relief
goods from his pocket.
He also distributed
relief goods for the victims of Typhoon Egay in
Ilocos Norte, Pampanga
and Bulacan.
Mangas said Chan’s
dedication and compassion have left an indelible mark on lives of
countless people making him an outstanding socio-civic leader.
