The Bureau Of Fire Protection Pasay City Fire Station under the leadership of FSUPT MARIANO S TAGUIAM, City Fire Marshal and its Personnel conduct recently its 4th City Fire Square Competition consists of four categories Poster Making, Drawing Contest, Tik Tok and Quiz Ball Contest with the Theme:”Pag-iwas Sa Sunog Di Ka Nag-iisa.”
The guest of honor during the event is Hon. Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano, Mayor Pasay City.
In her speech, the Mayor emphasized that unity is the best way to fight any disasters or untoward events that will affect human lives. As a mother of the city, I want to ensure your safety against destructive fires by proving immediate assistance when it occurs. Your protection is my first concern. Let us be always put into our minds what we learned about fire prevention to be resilient and to have a safe place to live, she said.
Taguiam said, during his opening address it is important that everyone must have a basic training and understanding on how to protect oneself in time of any untoward event arises. Life is too precious we must always ready saving it as well as the lives of our love ones. Protecting lives and property must be the primary task of everyone.
