buy-bust operation
at the Barangay
Hall of Barangay
Wakat, Nagcarlan,
Laguna on July
15, 2023 at about
12:45 p.m

Marlon Santos identified the susoect as
Renato Acosta, 61
years old, Barangay
Captain of Barangay Wakat.
Santos said
CIDG detectives
conducted a buybust operation
against loose firearms which resulted in the arrest of
the suspect for Violation of RA 10591.
C o n f i s c a t e d
from the suspect
were two caliber 45
pistols, magazines,
holsters and ammunitions.
Santos added
that the arrested
person transacted
to sell his loose firearms via texts and
calls to prospective
clients .
The arrested
suspect and the
confiscated evidence were brought
to CIDG Batangas
PFU Office for documentation and
proper disposition.
