STA. CRUZ, LAGUNA. ANILAG Festival is finally back!

ANILAG Ani ng Laguna) Festival has been celebrated since 2004, a Department of Tourism Hall of Famer in the Province Festival Category for being best as its class for three consecutive years. After three years of implemented doldrums and a successful campaign to control COVID-19, the Provincial Government of Laguna under the leadership of Governor Ramil L. Hernandez will once again hold the ANILAG Festival, with Laguna’s First Lady and 2nd District Representative Ruth Mariano-Hernandez as Co Chairman of the LOVE LAGUNA tourism campaign. On March 11 to 18, the ANILAG FESTIVAL will be held with more meaningful programs, with more new activities to catalyze a resurgent Laguna. After the economic devastation caused by the pandemic, Gov. Ramil Hernandez and the Provincial government made sure to employ new policies to generate and sustain the budding economic growth and the growing dynamism of Laguna’s society. All this for the people to take into full account Laguna’s current and future economic, social and environmental potential and protection. Beginning with the symbolic show of unyielding spiritual faith, with the Fluvial Parade, the Festival will feature for the first time, thirty united LGU’s of Laguna with the opening of the Trade Fair Exhibit. As mentioned, there will be more interesting activities, such as Mr. & Mrs. Laguna, Himig Laguna Song Writing competition, Arnis Exhibition, Hot Air Balloon Exhibition, Philippine Marines Corps Silent Drill Platoon and Band Exhibition, ANILAG Search for Talents and Artists, Rabbit Exhibit and Cultural Show with the Embassies among others. And with the mainstream programs enhance to the changing times and trends of the new normal, the 2023 ANILAG FESTIVAL is guaranteed to attract visitors, tourists and investors all wanting to be part and to partake of the bountiful harvest of the 2023 ANILAG Festival (Marra Villegas/Laguna Provincial Information Office)
