Hotel Casiana & Events Center, Tagaytay City, October 21, 2025 โ A three-day post-relocation assessment is being conducted from October 20-22 for the Relocation and Resettlement efforts related to the LRT Line 1 South Cavite Extension Project.
The assessment brings together key stakeholders, including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Councilor Horacio Brillantes, Atty. Aimee T. Neri (City Administrator & Head of HUDRD), Dr. Abraham De Castro (Head of PESO), and Ms. Memviluz L. Baurile (CIGOO Head of DILG Bacoor). The LRTA family is represented by LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera and Engr. Joseph Dexter Buenconsejo, LRTA Project Manager. Officers and representatives from DOTR, DHSUD, NHA, PCUP, and the City Government of General Trias are also participating.
During the assessment, Mayor Strike B. Revilla emphasized the City Government’s commitment to supporting relocated families. “The City Government, through HUDRD, is providing assistance beyond financial aid and relief packs. We are offering livelihood profiling to address their job needs, helping children transfer schools, and expediting electricity connections with the help of Meralco. We have also reached out to the Department of Agriculture to bring KADIWA stores to relocation sites, providing affordable rice and vegetables. We know the Government of General Trias will not abandon our constituents.”
Mayor Strike added, “While there is no place like home, home is where the heart is. Even though some of our fellow Bacooreรฑos may be far away, the City Government of Bacoor remains open to assisting them in any way we can. Our dream for every Bacooreรฑo family is a peaceful and progressive future, and we can only achieve this through mutual support and compassion.”
