MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT & DATA PRIVACY AGREEMENT SIGNING CEREMONY: LTO – LGU INTERCONNECTIVITY SYSTEM (SINGLE TICKETING SYSTEM)

BACOOR CITY – A special ceremony took place today at Revilla Hall where the Memorandum of Agreement and Data Privacy Agreement for the LTO – LGU Interconnectivity System, also known as the Single Ticketing System, were signed.

The ceremony was led by the City Government of Bacoor and the Department of Transportation – Land Transportation Office (LTO), with the aim of improving transportation services in the city. This is the first of its kind outside of Metro Manila.

Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Bacoor City Councilors, Special Guests including Hon. Erick M. Martinez – Representative 2nd District of Valenzuela, Atty. Vigor D. Mendiza II – Assistant Secretary Land Transportation Office Chief, Hon. Lord A. Villanueva – Under Secretary for Operation Department of Interior And Local Government (DILG), Atty. Noreen Bernadette S. San Luis – Lutey – LTO Director, Manolo Steven M. Ona – President and CEO of QPAX TRAFFIC SYSTEM, Atty. Jake Patrick P. Posio – Data Protection Officer of QPAX TRAFFIC SYSTEM, BTMD Head Leslie Morales, City Administrator Atty. Aimee Torrefrangco-Neri, City Legal Head Atty. Kim Lofranco, and Mr. Lodgene Asuncion, MIS head and Data Protection Officer, were present during the ceremony.

The purpose of the ceremony was to sign the MOA and Data Privacy Agreement for the implementation of the LTO – LGU Interconnectivity System or Single Ticketing System. This system aims to expedite the process of delivering services to motorists and establish a more efficient system for paying fines and other traffic-related transactions.

The ceremony took place at Revilla Hall on March 6, 2024. With the implementation of the LTO – LGU Interconnectivity System, it is expected to enhance the experience of motorists in Bacoor City and improve the transportation system for the entire community.

Also in attendance were employees of LTO, officials and staff from various government agencies, members of the Bacoor Liga ng mga Barangay, BTMD Employees, and officials from TODA in the first and second districts of the city.
