The Department of
Information and Communications Technology
(DICT) in Cavite Province is strengthening
the disaster response
mechanisms in the City

Disaster Relief.
Last January 3, the
DICT Cavite installed a
1.2 meter-VSAT (Very
Small Aperture Terminal) dish. The DICT said
this will be useful for
reliable communication
during disasters and facilitating swift response
efforts.
The VSAT dishes
were placed in strategic
areas that are prone to
connectivity disruptions
during emergencies
to ensure connectivity in the city, especially
