In its continued effort to promote accessible healthcare for all sectors, the Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO), conducted a Medical and Dental Mission on November 4, 2025, at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) DasmariΓ±as, benefiting more than 600 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs).
Various health services were offered during the health activity, including electrocardiogram (ECG), X-ray, medical and dental consultations, and tooth extractions, all rendered by the OPHO medical and dental team.
The initiative reflects the provincial governmentβs commitment to ensuring that quality health services reach every CaviteΓ±o, including those in correctional facilities, by addressing their medical and dental needs and promoting overall well-being.
The success of the activity underscores the importance of collaboration and compassion in upholding the provinceβs mission of delivering inclusive public health care.
