The Provincial Government of Cavite through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), in collaboration with the Municipality of Naic, successfully held the Cavite Career Caravan on August 22, 2025, at the Stadium Shopping Strip, Naic, gathering a strong turnout of local job seekers and key employment partners.
A total of 1,131 job seekers flocked to the event, which featured 8,682 job vacancies offered by 52 participating companies. The career fair resulted in 83 individuals hired on the spot, marking a significant impact on local employment efforts.
The event opened with remarks and messages from local officials, including Municipal Vice Mayor Jacinta Maria Remulla and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Naic, alongside officials from the provincial government. The program also featured support from Hon. Chelsea Sarno, Cavite SKF President, and various provincial partners.
Representatives from national government agencies (NGAs) including SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG, PSA, DTI, NBI, TESDA, and DOLE were present to provide government services and information. Additionally, free legal assistance was made available through the Office of the Provincial Legal Officer, ensuring comprehensive support for job seekers. The Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer also showcased Cavite products at their display booth.
The Cavite Career Caravan is part of the province’s ongoing initiative to bring employment opportunities closer to residents, while also strengthening partnerships.
