CALAMBA CITY LAGUNA-Local Government Unit (LGU) of this city donated 11 vehicles to enhance police mobility in keeping the peace and order as well as safety of the constituents here.

In his speech, Mayor Roseller Rizal said at the Ceremonial Turn over and Blessing of Mobile Vehicles conducted at the Calamba City Police Stations grounds on Wednesday (February 8, 2023), that the 11 vehicles composed of four (4) motorcycles, five (5) mobile patrol units and two (2) Toyota Innova are part of the pursuit of the LGU to keep the city peaceful and progressive. Rizal said that a strong relationship of the City Government of Calamba and PNP leads to a safe and strong community.

Through the right implementation of the law and their sincere execution, surely the order in a place is within reach to the convenience of the people in the city of Calamba),” he stressed.
In addition, the Mayor said that” through the establishment of policies and programs that would be beneficial to our constituents as well as ensuring that all Calamba police officers have sufficient ability in handling their responsibilities, we look up to these officers, with increased confidence that we are all in good hands”.

Meanwhile, Brig GenJose Melencio Nartatez, Jr., Regional Director, Police Regional Office IV A, acknowledged the donation as the biggest in the province and almost equal to the donation of the provincial government of Cavite in the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon). “We, are indebted to this donation …maibalik namin ( we can repay) through a fine service to the people or stakeholders here in Calamba City”, Nartatez, Jr. stated. He reiterated the mandate of the PNP which are “ to enforce the law, prevent and control crime , maintain peace and order, ensure public safety with the active support of the community” for which he was thankful for the active support of the city mayor and the local government.
