BACOOR CITY HOSTS 9TH NATIONAL COMPETITION 2024 ‘FUGUE OF CHAMPION’

Bacoor City, under Mayor Strike B. Revilla’s leadership, hosted the 9th National Competition 2024, ‘Fugue of Champion.’ Organized with the Philippine Drum and Lyre Association Inc. (PDLAi) and Bacoor City Culture, History, Arts, and Tourism Department, the event highlighted the city’s dedication to musical excellence.

Young musicians from across the Philippines showcased their talents in various categories, including elementary and high school levels, as well as an open class. Notable performances came from schools like Cabangan Elementary (Zambales), Tagkawayan Central (Quezon Province), Talipad National High (Quezon Province), and Cavite City Bluecoats (Cavite City).

The event also featured the oath-taking ceremony for new PDLAi officers, marking a significant moment for the organization. Held at Bacoor Elementary School Oval Track, ‘Fugue of Champion’ celebrated talent, camaraderie, and the unifying power of music, leaving a lasting impact on Bacoor City’s cultural landscape.
