DOST-CALABARZON through DOST Cavite delivered a cutting-edge medical-grade tele medicine device called RxBox to the City Health Office of the City Government of Trece Martires last May 11.This locally-manufactured telemedicine device is of the highest medical-grade quality and holds great potential for enhancing healthcare services in the city. Mr. Chuck Clarence Corpuz, an RxBox Regional Training Coordinator of DOST-CALABARZON, led the deployment and training activities. He conducted a comprehensive orientation session by demonstrating the proper use, operation, and management of the RxBox. The training was attended by a total of 11 participants, including six registered
nurses and one City Information and Communications Technology Officer (CICTO) from the City Health Office. Acknowledging the significance of these advancements in line with the Department of Health’s (DOH) Universal Health Care initiative, the Honorable Mayor Gemma B. Lubigan and OIC City Health Officer, Dr. Lorelie R. Escario signed a Memorandum of Agreement affirming their reception of these innovations. With this collaboration, the local government of Trece Martires City is now equipped with the RxBox device to augment and elevate their healthcare services.(dost)
