All personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office – National Capital Region (BJMPPRO-NCR) led by Regional Director C. Supt. Clint Russel A. Tangeres, as well as the jail facilities under its command participate in the Fourth Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on November 9, 2023, to prepare for any eventualities of a potential major seismic occurrence. After the nationwide ceremonial alarm was raised at exactly 9:00 in the morning, all personnel quickly perform ‘Duck, Cover, and Hold’, the basic emergency response activities to lessen the effects and avoid casualties.
