Strike Multi-Purpose Hall | February 25, 2026 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla, together with key city officials, convened with representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to assess the progress of major infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity and addressing flooding concerns in Bacoor City.

Present during the meeting were Atty. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri (City Administrator), Ms. Rhowena Alcantara (CPDC Head), Mr. Mike Jimenez (Engineering Department Representative), Engr. Carolina Pastrana (OIC, DPWH Regional Director Region IV-A), Engr. Ray Andrew Molino (Assistant Regional Director, DPWH Region IV-A), and Ms. Jo Ricardo (Representative of Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla).

Key Projects Discussed:

• The planned 2026 Bacoor–Imus Bridge connecting the cities via the Zapote River

• Progress of the Bacoor Diversion Project to ease traffic congestion

• Proposed widening of the Molino Flyover

• Status of the Molino 4 Arena

• Development of the “Ring of Life” project along Bacoor Boulevard

• Inclusion of Bacoor City in the Oplan Kontra Baha program for strengthened flood mitigation efforts

The meeting strengthened coordination between the Bacoor LGU and DPWH, reaffirming their shared commitment to the timely and efficient completion of these vital projects.
