The City of Biñan, known as the Premier Heritage and Trade and Capital of the South was conferred with its 6th Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) today, December 14, 2023 at the Manila Hotel.

Big Three – Congresswoman Len Alonte-Naguiat, Mayor Arman Dimaguila and Vice Mayor Gel Alonte, together with DILG Officer Fatima Alon accepted the award from DILG.

Biñan passed the SGLG ‘all-in’ assessment criteria. These areas include financial administration and sustainability; disaster preparedness; social protection and sensitivity; health compliance and responsiveness; sustainable education; business-friendliness and competitiveness; safety, and peace and order; environmental management; tourism, heritage development, culture and arts; and youth development.
