City – Joint operations of

Regional Chief together with
Sto Tomas City Police Station arrested two suspects for
Grave Threat and violation of
RA 10591 (Illegal possession
of firearms) and recovered 2
suspected carnapped vehicles
and other suspected falsified
documents
Victims Ryan Ballesteros
and Catherine Rose Colo
sought the assistanceof Sto
Tomas CPS who were roving
in the said place after the suspects drew and pointed their
firearms towards them. Acting
on the said report, responding
patrol members immediately
coordinated the incident with
the personnel of RHPU4A together with the victims, and
proceeded to the place of the
incident to conduct follow-up
operations.
Upon arrival, the operating team saw two males
standing in front of a house
and were positively identified
by the victims.
Immediately, the responding personnel approached the suspects and
asked them to raise their
hands and surrender their
firearms visibly tucked in their
waists. Thereafter, the operating team subdued the suspects affected their arrest and
seized one 9mm pistol with
three magazines, one caliber
45 pistol with 2 magazines and
42 live ammunitions.
Also recovered were a
Nissan Urvan with plate number VAA 3574 and Toyota HiAce with plate number NDZ
3642, twenty-eight pcs of assorted plate numbers and ten
pcs of suspected spurious certificates of registration.
Estolano said the outstanding accomplishment of
RHPU4A is the result of intensified Anti-Carnapping Operations of the Highway Patrol
Group under the Leadership
of BGen Alan Nazarro, in line
with the CPNP’s Aggressive
and Honest Law Enforcement
operations against carnapping,
highway robbery, and other
forms of criminality along the
